About United Way of Thunder Bay

We all love where we live but social Issues such as poverty, mental health and addictions are hurting our community.

The United Way of Thunder Bay is focusing on one core issue; POVERTY. The issues of Poverty include: Unemployment, Hunger, Domestic Violence, Homelessness, social Isolation, Mental Health Challenges and Education Inequality.

Too many people are being left behind because of circumstances beyond their control. In our busy lives, local issues can easily be ignored or go unnoticed. You can’t solve a problem you don’t know exists.

The United Way of Thunder Bay is a local leader who understands our community issues and is working with our Community Partners to make local Issues #UNIGNORABLE.

To be successful, we need the entire community to help.

We are asking that you show your local love for the place you call home and the people who live here, in a way that is meaningful to you.

We know we can make a difference as individuals by coming together around these significant issues, but it takes a community wide commitment to make progress.

We are working to build a movement of people who want to help solve important community issues together, making our city a better place for everyone.

We invite you to join us by participating in this online auction to raise much needed funds to tackle the root causes of POVERTY.
