About Story Factory
Last year, Story Factory worked with just over 6,000 young people. Your support will help us run in-school programs with even more young people in 2021.
Story Factory is a not-for-profit in Sydney, Australia, and since 2012 we have been running creative writing programs for marginalised young people aged 7 to 17. We are experts at making writing fun, and engaging students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Stories have the power to change lives. Our storytelling workshops have been designed by creative writing and literacy experts to build literacy, confidence, and creativity: essential skills young people need to shape their future.
Since opening, nearly 30,000 young people have enrolled in Story Factory’s free creative writing programs. All these young people live in under-resourced communities, and/or are Indigenous or speak English as an additional language or dialect.
On behalf of the next 30,000 young people, thank you for bidding and helping out.
