The Sweetest Little Thing Art Auction

The Sweetest Little Thing is the most important annual fundraising event for the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery in Sackville, NB. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting programming at both galleries.

This year, bidding will take place entirely online. Artworks will be available to preview in-person 7 - 14 February at the Owens.

Bidding ends on Wednesday, 14 February at 10:00 pm AST.

There are two ways to bid:
1. Enter an Exact Bid
2. Enter a Proxy Bid

What is a Proxy Bid? A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.

Good to know: If an item receives a bid during the final 3 minutes of the auction, the item end time will be extended to allow for 3 additional minutes of bidding. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes of the item bidding window or the auction has been extended for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original 10:00 pm end time.

All winning bidders will receive a notification from 32auctions immediately following the auction.

Emceed by Lucas Morneau and Amy Siegel, this year’s event will feature karaoke with Graeme Patterson, a scavenger hunt, a raffle for an epic cake donated by Cranewood on Main Bakery and Café, and other fabulous prize packs… plus a few other surprises! Gather in your fanciest dress, snap a photo at the Instant Lovin’ Photo Booth, and get ready to partake in some dancing!

Extra-special pink, magenta, and red KN95 masks will be available to keep us looking festive. Available for free in both child and adult sizes.
