Shaffer Family Fire Fund

Through the kindness of friends, family and supportive goodhearted strangers the Shaffer Family Fire Fund has raised tens of thousands of dollars to begin the Shaffer home rebuild. The goal has been to get Bruce, Jen and their two young daughters back in a home to call their own. Unfortunately the very generous donations raised over the last few months are running out and the unfinished rebuild will come to a screeching halt within weeks.

The property and house have come an amazingly long way mostly due to the generosity of people like you. To raise the final amount of funds we are having this online auction. Please bid and help us finish the REBUILD!

On Friday, October 18th 2013 a devastating fire destroyed the home of Bruce and Jen Shaffer in Springfield, West Virginia. With the grace of God Jen and their young daughters were unharmed in the fire but their home sadly burned to the ground. In addition to the disastrous loss of property 19 beloved dogs died in the fire. Bruce is a well respected and professional dog trainer by trade. He lost every one of his personal dogs in the fire as well as countless clients dogs. The Shaffer Family Fire Fund was created to help the Shaffer's raise money to rebuild their home and lives.
