Science Week 2024

Science Week is a series of events for our students and community members to participate in and learn about the sciences at Flagler College. The events include networking receptions, panel discussion, speaker’s luncheon, sunset science boat tour and the senior capstone poster presentations and symposium. The poster presentations and symposium are the marquis events showcasing our students and their research in the Coastal Environmental Science (CES) and Biology programs at Flagler College.

The CES program is strongly grounded in experiential learning and undergraduate research and is among the top four majors at Flagler College. As this program continues to gain popularity combined with the recent addition of a planned Biology major, the department has seen a need for the expansion of the science faculty, facility enhancements, equipment upgrades and academic scholarships in order to meet the demands.

All money raised from the silent auction will provide funding to benefit the Coastal Environmental Science and Biology programs. Science Week will showcase research being conducted by our faculty and students, grow awareness of the Flagler sciences in the community, and raise support for the natural sciences program. It promises to be an educational and enriching experience for the local community as well as people from around Northeast Florida and beyond.
