Auction! Action! Save Windmill Brixton!

The Windmill Brixton is in imminent danger of shutting its doors for good. We simply cannot allow it to go under.

Team Lose It are working with the Windmill to bring you the greatest rock and roll auction the internet has ever seen, with contributions from the rock stars, cult heroes, award winners, living legends and artists who call the Windmill home, offering up everything from their time, their instruments, unique one-off artworks, signed merch, test pressings, the shirt off their back. All proceeds will go directly to the venue to ensure its continued survival in the face of the ongoing pandemic restrictions and increasingly extortionate rent.

**PLEASE CHECK EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM FOR IT'S AUCTION LENGTH - SOME ITEMS ARE UP FOR ONE WEEK, SOME FOR TWO WEEKS, SOME ITEMS WILL BE BUY IT NOW - MOST ITEMS WILL NOT BE SENT OUT/AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION UNTIL THE NEW YEAR (DATES WILL VARY)** - please read updated info about bidding/ shipping below.

Please read item description before bidding as it will contain crucial information about the length of time the item is available to bid on, and whether they can be posted out or are collection only.

Featured items show first then the listings are in alphabetical order by artist/ donor.

Dig deep, go big, get something unique for the music aficionado in your life. Baxter Dury's 'Miami' writing drum machine, perhaps; or the guitar that music legend Fruitbat from Carter USM played at the 1991 Smash Hits Poll Winner’s Party (the one where they rugby-tackled Phillip Schofield to the ground). Maybe even one of your favourite Horsey's golden jackets; exclusive signed items and clothing from La Roux; or, for the Squid fan, a unique 'time capsule' containing various signed vinyl, merch, photos & drawings. Treat a friend, treat yourself - it’s been a crap year!

About Windmill Brixton

This flat-roofed cultural mecca has nurtured and championed Mercury Prize nominees black midi and Kae Tempest, Grammy-nominated Fontaines D.C., feral hellraisers Fat White Family and BBC 6music darlings Warmduscher, Goat Girl, Squid, Tiña, Insecure Men and countless others. Prior to the pandemic hitting, the Windmill, an inclusive, genre-hopping venue already firmly established on the UK music map, was set to launch itself further into the stratosphere with their own stage at world-renowned festival SXSW, as well as curating a Windmill stage at the inaugural Wide Awake Festival in London. It has now been identified by the Music Venue Trust as one of the 30 grassroots venues across the country most at risk of closure.
