Alumni & Friends of PSU Men's Hockey Golf Classic

The Friends of Penn State Men’s Hockey in partnership with the Penn State Men's Hockey alumni are proud to present its 2nd Annual Golf Classic on Friday May 17, 2024 at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College, PA. As part of the event, a silent auction will help raise funds that directly support the Penn State Men's Hockey Team. FOPSMH has proven to be an extremely important group to the success of the Penn State Men’s Hockey program. The group started a scholarship endowment, purchased a golf cart, and has contributed general funding for miscellaneous items that have directly enhanced the experience of the hockey student athletes. To date, the club has contributed over $115,000 towards the scholarship endowment.

Penn State hockey players get a world class education, compete in the B1G Hockey Conference with and against many of the best collegiate players in the world, and do so in a beautiful facility that prides itself on providing amenities that will help them develop into the best hockey players they can be. To maintain that level of commitment, contributions to the Friends of Penn State Men’s hockey group go directly to assist with items that support each and every one of our student-athletes. In addition to the scholarship endowment, examples would be meals, apparel, transportation, training equipment, speakers, and team-building events.
