Mini-PILA Auction

Since we could not hold our regular PILA Auction due to Covid-19 last spring, we have decided to scale it back a little to a mini online only auction. All proceeds will benefit the Public Interest Law Association Fellowships, which assist students working with organizations that provide direct legal services to low-income and underserved clients. The program is supported by several funding sources and administered through the School of Law's Clinical Legal Education program. The fellowships provide students with stipends during 10-week placements. Funding is available in part though the leadership of the student-run Public Interest Law Association and the Office of Student Organizations.

About Public Interest Law Association, Duquesne Law

Duquesne University's Public Interest Law Association (PILA) is dedicated to increasing awareness of public interest issues as well as providing opportunities for students to gain experience in the public interest field. PILA focuses on publicizing the types of public interest careers that are available, presenting students with the opportunity to become involved in the local community by performing public service activities of a legal and non-legal nature, and raising money to fund students who wish to do summer internships with public interest employers.
