2022 Michigan AEYC Silent Auction

Proceeds from the auction benefits Michigan AEYC’s student scholarships and awards for early childhood educators in the field.

Please note if you choose to have your item shipped to you, you will incur an additional charge. All items will be shipped by flat rate priority mail. Please see the item detail for shipping prices. Some items are too large to ship and must be picked up at the office or onsite.

ALL payments including shipping must be made by Monday, May 9th by 5pm or your item will go to the next highest bidder. If you place the winning bid, after the close of the auction on the evening of Friday, May 6th you will receive an email to the account you registered with your invoice from the auction website. Through the auction platform you will pay for your item and shipping if desired. Please note some items are too large to be shipped.

If you are unable to pickup your item during the time periods offered, it will go to the next highest bidder.

3. Michigan AEYC, 839 Centennial Way, Lansing Michigan 48917 Tuesday, May 10th 4-7pm

If you are a high bidder on a gift certificate and cannot pick up your item in person, please choose gift certificate only. On Tuesday, May 10th your certificate(s) will be mailed out after payment has been made at no additional charge to you

Michigan AEYC Silent Auction Rules and Disclaimer

By bidding in Michigan AEYC’s silent auction, bidders agree to the following auction rules.

1. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” Michigan AEYC has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and shall not be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, condition of the items or assumption of liability.

2. The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.

3. Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified.

4. Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the auction website. The website accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

5. Following payments, you may pick up your purchases in the checkout area. You must show your paid emailed receipt for items to be picked up.

6. The purchaser must pick up all items by 7pm Tuesday, May 10th, unless shipping has been selected and paid for or special arrangements are made. Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to Michigan AEYC.

7. Michigan AEYC reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.

8. Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the date of the auction.

9. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Michigan AEYC, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
