Illuminating Hope 2023
Abuse, in all of its forms, is oppressive, dehumanizing, and potentially lethal. Henderson House’s trained, confidential advocates refuse to let the darkness of abuse extinguish the light of hope. We empower our clients through confidential 1-on-1 support, 24-hour crisis response, 30-day emergency shelter, assistance with safety plans and protection orders, resource referral, support groups, as well as court and emergency room accompaniment. This work of illuminating hope is vital, life changing, life saving, and ongoing.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This October, we invite you to show your support of Henderson House — a nonprofit emergency shelter and advocacy center dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Yamhill County — by participating in our “Illuminating Hope” online auction. Every dollar bid helps raise support for Henderson House!
We are so grateful for all of our Illuminating Hope event partners: the sponsors that make it possible to put on these events, the businesses that have so generously donated to our online auction, our incredible Board of Directors that work tirelessly to support our work, and to our community who show up in support — thank you!
With deep gratitude,
