Food Court Social World Fare

The Food Court Social, George Brown College Foundation’s signature annual event, brings together over 15 of Toronto’s top chefs and culinary artists in support of students with mental health and addiction challenges enrolled in George Brown’s Augmented Education program. This year’s event will be held on Thursday 26th September 2019 at the George Brown College Waterfront Campus.

Last year the Food Court Social raised over $210,000 to offset programming costs for the Augmented Education program. This year we continue to raise support and awareness for this life-changing program.

This year’s Food Court Social, themed “World Fare”, will display food sourced from our chefs’ cultural backgrounds. An amazing variety of food will be coupled with and expansive silent auction and live music.

Since 1984, the George Brown College Foundation has helped support the needs of our diverse student population to keep education accessible to all. We do this by raising money for student scholarships and bursaries, as well as for transformational initiatives that strengthen the College’s ability to offer programs for specific industries and professions.

Your contributions help to ensure that George Brown College can continue to provide students with the tools and skills they need to succeed, and support the economic, cultural and social well-being of Toronto and the surrounding region.
