Thanks for taking part in Lions Foundation’s first-ever online auction! Supporters from across Canada got in on the bidding, and all for a great cause. Together, just over $13,000 was raised, and 100 per cent of the proceeds go towards Dog Guides’ training programs.
Each week, a new set of prizes was on the auction block, and next year, we plan to do it all over again. Watch this space for more information.

Lions Foundation of Canada's mission is to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them Dog Guides. Dog Guides programs include Canine Vision, Hearing Ear, Service, Seizure Response, Autism Assistance and Diabetic Alert. These Dog Guides are provided at no cost to eligible Canadians from coast to coast despite an expense of $25,000 to train and place. With no government funding, the Foundation relies on donations from individuals, service clubs, foundations and corporations, and fundraising events like Stay Home & Bid.
