The death of a child at any age and for any reason turns a parent’s world upside down. Compounding their grief is learning that other parents will experience the same out-of-order loss because 115 beautiful lives will be stolen by MBC every day (more than 42,000 each year) to a disease that receives less than 5% of all breast cancer research funding and is the ONLY form of breast cancer that kills!

Because MBC is 100% fatal, we couldn’t save our beautiful, vibrant 30-year-old daughter, Kady, from this horrific disease, so we’ve made it our mission to help other young women with MBC and to advocate for the attention and funding this disease demands and deserves. But we couldn’t do it without the support and generosity of our community, and we thank you!

We all see information about being ‘aware’ of breast cancer. What you won't see much of is information about what Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) is, how less than 7% of ALL research funds are directed toward it, or that it's a death sentence.

The mission and purpose of The Kady Haynes Beauty For Ashes Project, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is to honor the memory and continue the legacy of Kady Haynes, a 30-year-old woman stolen by MBC. Through easing the financial burdens of women diagnosed with MBC, educating the public to achieve greater awareness, and lobbying for more research funding, we strive to bring hope to those already diagnosed that the next generation of young women diagnosed won’t face a guaranteed death sentence, but can have their disease treated as a manageable chronic condition.
