St. Francis Community Mardi Gras 2024

This year’s Mardi Gras will be a virtual event combined with online options.
Your sponsorship will support:
• Children and families coming to the Sisters for emergency needs such as food, shelter, and safety; those suffering from natural disasters, and upgrades to the retired sisters living quarters.
• On-going healing and renewal programs for people of all ages seeking renewal at St. Francis Spirituality Center; the expansion of family-friendly events; as well as building improvements and upgrades for the Center.
• Individuals with developmental disabilities as they learn about chemical-free small farm practices on the Seeds of Hope Farm; adult education programs; and free family-friendly events hosted at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center.
• The purchase of a new boiler for Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments (ESA) that will be installed next spring for St. Francis Senior Ministries.

The Sisters of St. Francis live the Gospel mission of concern for those who are poor, care of creation, peacemaking, and contemplative action through their sponsored ministries: Franciscan Earth Literacy Center’s hands-on environmental education; St. Francis Spirituality Center’s oasis for healing, reconciliation and renewal; and in Cuernavaca, Mexico; Booneville, Kentucky; and various locations in Ohio where Sisters serve. St. Francis Senior Ministries exists to create a community where each individual can live life fully.
