RezDawg Rescue’s Pawliday Auction
COVID-19 shutdowns have dramatically hampered animal welfare efforts on the Navajo Nation (NN). Animal control officers (ACO) have a backlog of over four weeks' work and spay/neuter services are shut down on the Navajo Nation. The NN mobile spay/neuter unit is also grounded, accounting for a loss of 600+ surgeries for native-owned pet owners. The few off-Rez vets are backlogged over 8 weeks weeks for spay/neuter surgery appointments. Off-Rez shelter’s have closed their doors to reservation animals. The animals need your help more than ever.
With donations down roughly 30% since COVID hit, and intake of animals up 12%, the auction is fun way to rally our love and support of the Four Corners' homeless pets. Your participation in this year's Pawliday Auction will help provide rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and spay/neuter services to over 2,000 dogs and cats from the Four Corners and tribal lands next year.
Sit, stay safe, and bid with love!
