2018 USDF Region 1 NAYC Team Fundraiser

Fielding teams to the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) is an expensive endeavor! As a Region we incur the travel/lodging expenses for our chef d’equipes along with other team expenses such as tack stalls and golf cart rentals to get the team where they need to go.

Riders who have declared their intent to qualify for our team are strongly encouraged to help with the fund raising efforts. For many of our riders this is in addition to the personal fundraising efforts they have to cover their own expenses such as entry fees, stabling and transportation.

Thanks to generous support each year from our Region 1 community and others, we have not only been able to cover the regional expenses of fielding teams to this prestigious competition but have also helped to defray some of the expenses of our riders. Our online auction last year raised over $5k for our team!

The United States Dressage Federation is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the education, recognition of achievement and promotion of dressage with more than 30 different educational programs, 125 affiliate local or regional clubs and more than 2000 annual awards for excellence in competition. Region 1 encompasses the states of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. With over 5,000 members, Region 1 is the largest USDF region representing 18% of USDF's total membership.
