PBT Obon "Mostly" Vintage Shop

Perhaps you've wandered through Japan's shrine antique fairs or purchased treasures at our temple's Silent Auction or White Elephant sales that we've held at our Obon festivals. This year, like last year, our Obon Silent Auction will be online only. We are offering only the best, unique, beautiful items from our storehouse of donated, pre-owned Japanese housewares, Obon apparel, and Japanese decorative items, mostly vintage (era 20 years ago and older). Scattered among our items, hunt for modern treasures like Japanese food/beverages, collectibles and gift cards to Japanese establishments. Don't need anything yourself? Please consider becoming a sponsor at any level or making a monetary donation. We are continuing to raise funds to pay for asbestos mitigation and termite fumigation in our temple buildings, including costs for restorations and repairs and COVID-19 improvements.

The Pasadena Buddhist Temple belongs to the Jodo Shinshu tradition of Buddhism. Our national organization is the Buddhist Churches of America, headquartered in San Francisco, California. Our temple was established in 1948, and incorporated in 1956. We are located in Pasadena, California. We welcome all to come and learn about the Buddha Dharma.
