IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!

As a local community service organization in Bozeman for 75 years, the Optimist Club of Bozeman is a group dedicated to improving the lives of youth in the Gallatin Valley. Founded in 1947, our club's vision is to provide opportunities, activities, camps, areas and materials for youth to develop skills and improve their self worth and confidence.

In addition to sponsoring a number of youth programs, the Optimist Club hosts such events as a Fall warm-clothing drive with Thrive and a fishing derby in the Spring, to a summer recreation program with the City of Bozeman and participates in park development improvements such as the Bozeman Ponds near the Gallatin Valley Mall.

Our annual Garagarama has a new look in 2021 and we're excited to share it with you! As we draw closer to opening the doors to the 53rd year of this annual event , we've added an online version offering a sneak preview of the live auction items scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Gallain Country Fairgrounds.

Can't attend the on-site Garagarama at the fairgrounds in person? Now you can take part in the online version to bid on some of this year's great silent auction items and don't have to be present! Begining Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 8:00 AM online bidding for this year's silent auction items will begin on this site and continue until Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM.

Now individuals can go head-to-head against those attending on site by just using your computer or phone and follow the bidding. Note that all bidding, both online and in person will cease at exactly 2:00 PM. Please refrain from asking for additional time to complete bidding on silent auction items.

The on-site event auction at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 12, 2021 will go live with doors opening at 8:00 AM in the morning and ending promptly at 2:00 PM in the afternoon. No extensions will be permitting for additional bidding time after 2:00 PM.
