The Just Caring Art Auction
Pastel artist, Leigh Belcham, has very generously donated 20 of his paintings to Just Caring Midlands. These are all original artworks created using pastels on card. We will be selling these to raise money towards our HUB Building Project – find out more at: https://justcaring.org.uk/our-hub-project
All proceeds of sale will accrue to Just Caring Midlands after the artist has retained £25 for each painting sold to cover the cost of materials.
Profile of the artist: Leigh Belcham
"I've been painting on and off for about 25 years. But it was in 2002, following a move from Coventry to Suffolk, that East Anglia's waterscapes and wide skies became the inspiration for much of my work – often during time spent sailing on the beautiful River Deben. However, as you'll see from more recent paintings, a move back inland to Warwick in 2016 has led me to consider a much wider variety of subjects – from Warwick itself to Italy, Scotland, Cornwall and the Cambridgeshire fens.
"Painting landscapes for others to enjoy brings me great pleasure. And when I contemplate the beauty of the natural world, I sometimes try to imagine the pleasure that God had creating it in the first place."
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31)

About Just Caring Midlands
Charity No: 1177650
Just Caring Midlands is a registered Christian charity established in 2012, to help vulnerable and needy young people in the Birmingham area.
Many of us are fortunate enough to know the love and support of friends and family who can help us as we start out in life and be there for us through times of crisis. However for a lot of young people in Birmingham, this is not the case. Social Services and many other agencies help thousands of disadvantaged young people every year to find homes and jobs but many of them need something more. Just Caring Midlands can provide a support network for these young people, helping them to engage with their communities, learn how to take care of themselves and ensure that they are not alone…for as long as they want us.
While we offer support to all, our ethos is based very firmly on principles drawn from the Bible:
"And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Micah 6 v 8
