Back-to-School Basket Bonanza!

It's finally time to auction off our Classroom Theme Baskets, which were originally intended for the silent auction at the Greenwood Carnival last spring. We are so happy that the generous donations and numerous volunteer hours that made these baskets possible will not go to waste!

As you may recall, the Carnival was abruptly cancelled in March due to the escalating COVID situation at that time. Not only was the cancellation a huge disappointment to our students, families and many volunteers, it was also a significant blow to our annual PTA budget, which depends on the success of Carnival fundraising, including the Classroom Theme Basket auction.

Our hope is this online auction format will help our PTA recover some of those funds that allow us to provide numerous programs and resources that help all Greenwood students. Not to mention, we think there are some pretty fun and exciting items packed into these beautiful Classroom Theme Baskets!

The Greenwood Elementary PTA is made up of parents, guardians and teachers committed to making more happen at our school. Together, we sponsor dozens of programs throughout the school year that help our school community grow and flourish. PTA fundraising starts where school district (public) funding stops. All money raised through PTA fundraisers stays with Greenwood and directly supports our children, covering expenses such as books, software, technology, equipment, field trip stipends, community events, "Team Level Support" dollars for teachers and specialists, and much more.
