Family Promise of Sussex County has been serving the community for over 25 years. At its inception, our agency was a grassroots effort to address homelessness in our county and surrounding regions, and has blossomed into a full spectrum of services to aid those experiencing a housing crisis. In 2022, Family Promise of Sussex County was able to assist 1,895 households!

The mission of Family Promise of Sussex County is to secure housing stability and sustainability for those in crisis… because everyone deserves a home.

Our approach involves prevention services before families become homeless, shelter to help families experiencing homelessness, and housing stabilization programs once families have secured housing. Our programs include Homelessness Diversion, Eviction Diversion, Homelessness Prevention, Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Mobile Outreach, Intensive Case Management, Housing Navigation, and Utility Assistance.

This event will be our largest fundraiser of the year! Our programs and, most importantly, clients rely on supporters like you. When you participate in our auction, you can have confidence in knowing where the funds are going and how they are going to be used. All proceeds from this event will be used to fund programs that provide housing stabilization services, utility assistance services and other supportive services for the unhoused or at-risk people of Sussex County.

Our Live Auction Event at Newton Country Club will be an elegant summer garden party, featuring a variety of summer-themed appetizers and passed hors d'oeuvres. There will be auction items unique to the live event which can only be won by in-person bidding. We will have trivia, prizes, a generous giveaway, and opportunities to meet our staff, board members, sponsors, donors and all the community members that make Family Promise of Sussex County the outstanding agency that it is!
