2017 Circle of Hope Silent Auction

Welcome to the Circle of Hope: The Spark of a New Beginning!

2017 marks the 10th annual Circle of Hope event, but this year’s event will be the beginning of a new organization in our community. This year’s Circle of Hope will celebrate the merger of two leading non-profits in Dane County, Community Partnerships and Center for Families.

The event takes place on Friday, May 19, 2017 and features an evening of casino gaming, cocktails & hors d’oeuvres, music, silent auction, dancing, and the grand unveiling of the new merged agency name and logo!

Online bidding for the Silent Auction items will start on May 1st. This is a great opportunity for our supporters who are not able to attend the event in person, but still want to bid on items in the auctions.

You may also bid at the event on May 19th and view the auction items in person at Varsity Hall. Bidding for the Silent auction items will end at 9:15 pm on May 19, 2017.

**YOU HAVE AN OPTION OF PLACING AN EXACT BID OR A PROXY BID**

There are two ways to bid on an item.
- You can enter the exact amount you wish to bid and the bidding will immediately move to this amount.
- You can also enter a Proxy bid and allow the system to bid for you. Just enter the maximum amount you wish to pay for this item. As other people bid on this item, your bid will be raised up to your maximum amount. Your maximum bid amount will remain confidential unless you are outbid.

A proxy bid is a single bid and only shows up in the bid history one time. The bid history always shows the highest amount the system has bid for the proxy bid. This may look weird in the bid history when multiple bids have been entered against a proxy bid.

On April 1, 2017 Community Partnerships & Center for Families, two leading non-profit agencies merged to form a new organization in our community. We serve over 6,800 children, families, and individuals combined annually. Our services provide support, connection, education, and stabilization to some of the highest needs populations in our community that are challenged by poverty, health crises, mental health challenges, low levels of education, homelessness, and much more.

The big reveal of our new agency name and logo will occur at the Circle of Hope fundraising event on Friday, May 19, 2017.
