ASID CA PEN 2017 Design Excellence Awards Auction

The ASID CA Peninsula Chapter Celebration auction is the main fundraising initiative of the year for our chapter. Proceeds from this auction will be used to sponsor student scholarships through the Jean Siegfried Memorial Fund, the ASID Foundation, as well as allow the chapter to continue to grow and thrive.

The Auction Committee has curated auction items from our generous donors offering unique experiences and exciting products, including a vacation package, a Santa Monica experience, sport event tickets, jewelry and more. We invite you to take a look and bid early and often!

Our goal is to raise $5,000 through this auction. $1,000 of these funds will be used to award the Jean Siegfried Memorial Student Scholarship, and an additional $1,000 will be directed to the ASID Foundation. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Foundation works to advance the profession and communicate the impact of interior design through research, scholarships, and education.

The CA Peninsula Chapter covers the San Francisco Peninsula and includes over 450 interior designer members from San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. These are cutting-edge professionals who maintain the highest level of design standards. They are experts at satisfying their clients' diverse needs while effectively working under budgets and deadlines.

Our goal is to effectively promote the value of interior design to the general public, related professions and our members through education, community service and exposure, while advocating the right of interior designers to practice as professionals. Founded in 1975, the American Society of Interior Designers is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers

The online auction will open Thursday, June 15, 2017 and will transition to the live event held on Thursday, June 29th at Riggs Distributing, Inc. in Burlingame. The silent auction will close at 7:30pm at the Celebration on June 29th.
