Melbourne Polytechnic Jewellery/Object Auction '24

The 2024 Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object design students at Melbourne Polytechnic are hosting our annual online Jewellery and Object Auction. This fundraising event is the principal means of raising funds for our end of year graduate exhibition in November this year.

The Advanced Diploma is a dedicated skills-based jewellery program with a unique balance between trades-oriented skills and design.

This year's auction features jewellery and objects made and donated by Advanced Diploma final year students and a spectacular array of established artists, Melbourne Polytechnic Alumni, and our talented teaching staff. We are entirely indebted to this generosity!

Our goal is to fundraise $10,000 to cover venue hire, venue technician support, and promotion to present an exhibition that celebrates our graduate year of hard work and skills development.

Pursue your passion and emerging career in jewellery with Melbourne Polytechnic’s Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design MEM60222. This two year course introduces you to fundamental jewellery hand skills through to advanced jewellery making techniques that will allow you to design and create beautiful jewellery and objects of value and sentiment. Become qualified to work as a jeweller or object designer in Melbourne’s thriving art, design and craft industries.
