2020 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival Auction

Join us for the online auction of the 2020 Pinot Noir Festival original artwork by artist Gerald Reis, now a collector’s item! Every year at the event we auction off the poster artwork as a fundraiser and this year is no different.

This beautiful framed art is a mixed media on heavyweight Arches French Watercolor Stock paper, floated on a gray mat board with a black frame. The dimension of the artwork is 26 x 35 inches. The artwork is a combination of watercolor, color pencil, graphite and India Ink.

Luscious Pinot Noir shares the stage with its effervescent cousin for the first time at the 23rd annual festival. Ethereal bubbles, vintage rose, and a ribbon of valley highway set the festive mood in the 2020 poster artwork. Valued at $4,000. Opening bid begins $1,500.

The relationship between artist Gerald Reis and the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association (AVWA) began with the 2007 Pinot Noir Festival and 2020 marks the fourteenth year having Gerald as the festival’s resident artist. Gerald has also created artwork for eleven of the AVWAs Alsatian and Winter White Wine Festivals. A portion of all Pinot Festival artwork purchases during May will be generously donated by the artist to the non-profit education organization the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association. The Association has lost a significant amount of its annual funding due to COVID-19.
