About Our Auction

Zenith Community Arts Foundation
HANDS' ON WORKSHOPS (HOW)

HOW is designed to encourage teens and preteens to develop skills with a focus on careers in the arts with an emphasis on the "soft skills" such as time management, teamwork, and effective communication.

Preteen and teen HOW is held at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus (CHEC) and is part of the CHEC after school program.

Adult HOW is designed to guide young adults on the path towards a career as a professional artist. Adult HOW is hosted by the DC Art Studios.

The HOW curriculum is aligned with both the National Core Visual Arts Education Standards and the DCPS Arts Curriculum Standards and Cornerstones.

HOW needs your help to ensure that ZCAF, our supporters and our community together can continue to provide our young people with outstanding educational programs.
