Every year, Young Auditorium presents high-quality, professional programming with the goal of inspiring new ideas, creating connections, and fostering arts appreciation in everyone who walks through our doors. In addition to our work as a presenting arts organization, Young Auditorium also offers multi-purpose, collaborative spaces to campus and community members. The Fern Young Terrace, Kachel Center, and Young Auditorium lobby serve as dynamic resources for collaboration and learning, and are often used to host children’s educational programs, professional conferences, university events, parties, and more.

As an auxiliary operation under the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, only 18% of Young Auditorium’s funding is provided by the UW-System. The vast majority of operating costs must be generated through sponsorships, memberships, ticket revenue, and fundraising.

Currently, we are in need of your support to complete essential technology upgrades to our event spaces. These enhancements will ensure that all of our spaces are versatile and comfortable for our patrons, and will ensure that Young Auditorium remains a valuable community asset for years to come.
