The Women of Wichita State University (WWSU) was formed on July 1, 2018 with the merger of two organizations; Women's Association (WA) formed in 1928 and Council of University Women (CUW) formed in 1930. Each organization was established to foster fellowship and friendliness among the female faculty, faculty wives and staff while raising funds for scholarships for female students and WWSU continues with this tradition by encouraging and supporting women of all backgrounds. Both WA and CUW have established endowed general scholarships for non traditional female students which continue to be awarded each year.

In continuing with its philanthropic mission, WWSU established a third scholarship to be awarded annually to non-traditional female graduate or undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester. To continue to award this scholarship, WWSU needs your help!
