About Our Auction

Happy holidays from your friends at www.homegrownradionj.org and welcome to our winter wonderland of gifts and memorabilia.

Our supporters came out in the fall for our station benefit concert starring the Atlanta Cafe Band and original Vanilla Fudge lead guitarist, Vince Martell, and the Vince Martell Band. Well, we're back with more great items to put up for auction. Thanks to you, we were able to get back into the game and make the hope of bringing the station into the black a realistic possibility. But, we're not done. We need to go another round to further improve our standing and enable us continue bringing you the programming that so many of you have told us you want, but can't get anywhere else.

The holidays are here. If you are looking for that perfect gift for that special someone, we've got some items for you to bid on. Not only do we have a guitar signed by Willie Nelson and one by Deep Purple, we bring to you signed toys from luminaries like Les Paul, Kim Simmonds of Savoy Brown and the Marshall Tucker Band. Just a few samples of the merchandise at our access.

Homegrownradio is almost completely listener supported and doesn't cater to any pressure from corporate entities. Therefore, we play what we want, commercial-free, and what you want to hear.

We are dedicated to our listeners and encourage community relations through online broadcasts of local music and events, whether it be manning a booth at festival type events, or opening our doors on First Fridays (monthly celebration), thereby encouraging foot traffic to come view our station first hand.

About www.homegrownradionj.org

www.homegrownradionj.org is comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers whose love for music is important enough to exhibit a consistent drive to get their brand of programming out there. We have been involved most recently with a station drive to help the local Elks Club Post We also support local musicians and provide an outlet for these lesser known people to exhibit their music. We also participate and man a booth at local NJ events, as well as Boonton's First Friday, where we welcome guests and present live music all evening at the radio station's main location.
