Funds raised from shopping at our Waldorf Wonder Auction go to support public Waldorf education at Sebastopol Charter School through the school's fundraising entity, The Charter Foundation.

The Charter Foundation is the fundraising organization for Sebastopol Charter School, a Public Waldorf charter school in Sebastopol, California. Established by the school’s founders in 1996, the Foundation is charged with the mission of establishing and supporting a permanent, Public Waldorf charter school. Since that time the Charter Foundation has provided facilities for the School, bolstered teacher salaries and student programming, while also saving for and completing the acquisition and construction of our unified school site.

The Charter Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit corporation. Federal Tax ID 94-3314538. We use the funds we raise to cover the gap in expenses between what the state provides and what it costs to maintain our school's facilities, hire high quality faculty, and implement the meaningful Waldorf programming that makes up our curriculum.

For 28 years, hands-on learning in the arts, music, and movement have helped our students to flourish, and our recent move to a 20 acre campus promises a bright future for our school. All of these efforts were made possible by the dedication of our past and present families and extended business community.
