Adopt An Artifact

All adoptions are for a one year term and can be renewed each year if desired. Adopting an artifact is a unique way to get involved with the museum and help provide the support that we need to preserve and protect our collection.

BENEFITS OF ADOPTION

Tier 1 - $100 to $499
* Personalized adoption packet which includes a certificate of adoption, a photograph of your artifact, and a description of it's historical significance.
* A Charitable tax receipt for the amount donated (less benefits and services provided).
* 6 free admission passes.

Tier 2 - $500 to $999
* All Tier 1 benefits with 4 more admission passes.
* Updates about your adopted artifact throughout the year.
* Acknowledgment in our next newsletter
* Behind the Scenes Tour of the Museum for you and 5 guests.

Tier 3 - $1000 & Up
* All Tier 2 benefits with 14 more admission passes.
* Behind the Scenes Tour of the Museum for you and 9 guests.
* Name listed on Lobby TV with a photo of the artifact you adopted.
* Your name recognized on the website indicating your support of the VCHS Museum collections.

The Vigo County Historical Society collects, preserves and educates the
public on the history of Vigo County, Indiana. As an educational organization the Society maintains a museum to house and display its collections, sponsors programs and events that pertain to the history of the county, and provides reference and research services. Funds raised are for the preservation and maintenance of the collection.
