About Our Auction
Run for the Roses is a significant and popular fundraiser for This Old Horse held on May 4th. Incredible off track Thoroughbreds are our featured breed and serve as open house hosts for hundreds of supporters.
A 5k Fun Run and Family Fun Day includes runs for adults and kids, a virtual run, Kentucky Derby theme party, vendor market and live music.

About This Old Horse
Founded in 2012, This Old Horse, Inc. is a private 501(c)(3) accredited nonprofit equine welfare organization providing dignified, lifelong support and sanctuary for horses in transition including rescued, retired and special needs horses while they continue to serve as ambassadors to the positive effect of "horse power" in the lives of people.
This Old Horse is funded through private donations. We have helped more than 650 horses of 32 different breeds find their happily ever after.
