Whatcom Land Trust preserves and protects wildlife habitat, scenic, agricultural and open space lands in Whatcom County for future generations by securing interests in land and promoting land stewardship. Since our start in 1984 we have permanently protected over 24,000 acres in Whatcom County. This includes 1,300 acres of working agricultural lands, 14,000 acres of parkland, 47 miles of marine and freshwater shorelines, and 12,500 acres in the Lake Whatcom Watershed.
