About Our Auction

The Trail Conference's Annual + Auction is the organizations major fundraising event. Our silent auction is to benefit our programs and help advance our mission.

All proceeds raised go to the Trail Conference.

Happy Bidding :)

Over one hundred years ago, the Trail Conference was founded by outdoor-lovers who believed the weariness of fast-paced, modern life could be cured by a walk in the woods. Today, the demand for outdoor recreation is at an all-time high as people turn to nature to relax and recharge after an extremely challenging year.

Since 1920, the Trail Conference has been literal and figurative trailblazers in the conservation movement. Every time our volunteers step on a trail, they are embodying the values of an organization that strives to provide safe, enjoyable opportunities outdoors and inspire a deeper appreciation for the care that natural areas require.

We are celebrating 102 years at our Annual Gala on Saturday, October 15, at the Rio Vista. We will be celebrating extraordinary Trail Families, who help safeguard our trails, so future generations may bond with nature, learn to value it—and pass their environmental values on to the next generation.

Please join us as we honor the DeSilva and Gunzler families for their exemplary environmental leadership as dedicated stewards and advocates in protecting the land we love to explore.

Our program will include live entertainment, a cocktail hour, three-course meal, open bar, and cider tastings.

Values Statements
The joys of nature belong to everyone.
All people regardless of age, ability, or location should be able to experience the rewards of connecting with nature.

Environmental conservation is a shared duty.
We must preserve the integrity of our natural world not only to sustain our trail systems, but to ensure future generations can enjoy the outdoor experiences a healthy planet has to offer.

Volunteers are our superheroes.
Creating and protecting trails is a labor of love. We celebrate our volunteers their passion, dedication, and leadership make the trails we all love possible.

Respect is essential to success.
In our partnerships, we exercise the same courtesy we advocate for on the trail, and we strive to be a trusted source of information and expertise for the trail community.

The right path is always a responsible one.
We take land stewardship seriously and approach every decision with balanced judgment and firm conscience.
