Our 2nd Annual PAWSatively Awesome Auction

Welcome to our online auction!

Last year, we raised more than $25,000 through various fundraising campaigns, including our 1st Annual PAWsome Online Auction; however, our work is not done and we need your support.

We serve the Central Florida area in pursuit of our mission by providing low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, comprehensive cat adoption services and educational/outreach programs to the community.

Proceeds from this auction DIRECTLY benefit our pawsome kitties.

Sheltering Hands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization mainly comprised of volunteers with a limited level of professional staff. Founded in 2007, we primarily serve the needs of Marion and Levy Counties in the central Florida area. Led by the Board of Directors, we are a group of highly dedicated volunteers.

Our mission is to improve the lives of cats through humane care, spay/neuter, adoptions, education, and support services.

As a volunteer-based, limited intake, live release rescue we provide a variety of services to the local community, including:

- Maintaining a network of foster homes and residential facilities providing safe, loving, and enriching environments for cats until they are placed in their forever homes.

- Providing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Services for feral/community cats including providing traps, low-cost spay/neuter, and vaccination services.

- Offering Low-Cost Spay/Neuter for individuals who have a cat, or cats, in their care that need these services.

-Being an active part of the local community by forging partnerships with other organizations, participating in a variety of educational and outreach programs about responsible pet care, and offering assistance for spay/neuter and injured animal needs.
