Seize the Day Auction for Epilepsy

Fisher Family and Friends have come together to raise funds in support of Epilepsy Advancement and Research in Ontario. June 2022 marks 14 years seizure free for Karen and with our fundraisers being postponed again this year we thought a little fun together with an online auction would mark the year in our memories! Donating Items for Auction

If you would like to donate an item for auction, please email us before June 5th at fisherforepilepsy@gmail.com or contact us at (613) 257-7128.

Bidding Rules and directions

1. Register your email and create a user name so you are ready to bid as you find your favourite items. No credit card information required given payments being collected directly by Fisher Family and Friends at end of auction.

2. To make a bid for an item, simply enter your bid amount in the comment section under the item you are choosing. Each subsequent bid must follow in minimum increments specified on each item. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided.

3. Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered on the item that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will be indicated as such.

4. The winning bidder will be contacted, via email, to arrange payment (cash or e-transfer) and arrange to pickup the item.

5. All homemade baking items will be baked fresh once arrangements are made with highest bidder.

6. Any item left unclaimed/unpaid will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold as of July 15th.

7. Items may be added to the auction at any time so be sure to check back on a regular basis. As all items may not be posted on first day!

As an epilepsy warrior, Karen Fisher has brought together family and friends to raise money on an annual basis for Epilepsy Advancement and Research in Ontario and world wide.

Fundraising supports the team at London Health Sciences (Western University - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry) the largest epilepsy unit in Canada and a world class research and teaching program.

This team brought new hope for Karen after 30 years of uncontrolled seizures, she has been blessed to be seizure free since 2008 after receiving life changing brain surgery.
