DMV friends, mark you calendars! On October 14th, Germantown, Maryland will be the place to be for our IN-PERSON festival: "Bids, Brews & BBQ"! From 2-6PM (EST), prepare to be wowed by an unforgettable, family-friendly experience.

But wait, we've got something for EVERYONE! Whether you can make it in person or not, join us on October 10th on our Facebook page at 7:30 PM and be a part of the excitement. We'll share Rukundo's latest impacts, hear from our students at Rukundo Preparatory School, and so much more!

These events are all about LOVE IN ACTION! As Uganda continues to face the challenges of COVID-19 and ever-rising inflation, our students and their families need our support now, more than ever. By attending, sharing, and participating in our largest fundraiser of the year, you'll be making a direct impact on changing lives for vulnerable children and their families. Together, we can make a difference!

About Rukundo International

Rukundo International's mission is to empower Kabale, Uganda's most vulnerable populations through educational and economic opportunities that create pathways to self-sustaining communities.

Our flagship program, Rukundo Preparatory School, serves over 200 of the most vulnerable children in rural Uganda. The school operates in a holistic manner, with the goal of creating a healthy educational environment that ministers to the development of the child in totality: intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. It is the school's mission “to create world-changers through the power of high-quality education, love in action, and humble service.”

In addition to our school, we operate a community center, serving over 200 children each Sunday; have a Girl's Empowerment Program in three public schools, with over 1,600 graduates; support 21 local women through our Women's Agricultural Cooperative; and support the educational needs of 52 additional students through our Scholars program.
