About Nelson CARES
We are raising funds to renovate Ward Street Place, a 103 year old affordable housing building in downtown Nelson BC. The funds will be used to refurbish all of the 45 units, common areas and halls. Work to replace all the windows and exterior doors was completed January 2016. We are also setting up a maintenance fund so we can preserve these rooms for the next 50 years. The cost of the redevelopment project is $690,000 and since our launch date, November 2014, we have raised $515,000, only $175,000 to go.

Live Event Information
The ONLINE auction will end at 12:00 pm on Nov 4th. The LIVE auction will resume at the Capitol at 7:00 pm, with final bidding ending after intermission. Items should be paid for and picked up at the end of the evening.
