Quilts for Cause

Our mission is to ultimately make a lasting impact on Los Angeles and Koreatown communities. This is why Sequoyah High School’s Gryphon Ensemble is hosting an independent auction project where all the proceeds will be donated to the Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC) in order to support their good work for Los Angeles and Koreatown communities. Items displayed in this online auction include quilts donated by Pasadena Sewing and Vacuum, crafts from the Auntie Sewing Squad, and so much more!

The Sequoyah High School’s Gryphon Ensemble's mission for this auction is to raise money for the Koreatown Storytelling Community Center (KYCC) which serves locals in Koreatown with housing, education, health, and other issues facing Los Angeles today. All of the proceeds will be going to the KYCC so they can further improve their program through the donations made. The Sequoyah High School's Gryphon Ensemble is a music organization that specializes in social impact through music, we’ll be auctioning off quilts donated by Pasadena Sewing and Vacuum, lessons by Quilt 'n' Things Fiber Arts, and many more to further advertise/support neighborhood stores. Please join us in improving the lives of limited-income locals in Los Angeles, as well as showing support to local businesses!
