About Our Auction
In April of 2020, the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library put out a call to all Quilters and Crafters to come together (while apart) to participate in Quilts for a Cause. This special project was initiated to help connect with each other during an unprecedented time to represent how as a community we can weather any crisis that comes our way. Once the call went out, our community members surpassed all our expectations by donating over 100 quilt squares.
With the help of local Quilters Guilds, 18 unique quilts of various sizes were created that are now being auctioned off in order to benefit critical Library services and programs, like Homework Help and summer learning activities for youth.
Thank you to the quilters for your time and talent in creating this amazing artwork for charity.
The Quilts for a Cause auction is brought to you by The Library Foundation.
