Project Perseverance Auction

The Project Perseverance Auction is part of an exciting fundraising push for the Cumberland Forest called Project Perseverance. 100% of funds raised through this auction (Oct 15-29), and events October 23-29, will be matched by a secret donor! Project Perseverance fundraising is dedicated directly to the purchase and protection of threatened forest areas adjacent to Perseverance Creek in Cumberland, Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

The Cumberland Community Forest Society is a charitable non profit dedicated to the purchase and protection of forest lands surrounding the Village of Cumberland on Vancouver Island. This forest is an important habitat corridor and filled with trails, mature trees, streams, riparian areas and heritage landmarks. The CCFS is a grassroots community organization that believes that this forest is worth more to the community standing than as timber. They have purchased over 500 acres to date from timber companies. These areas are now dedicated as a municipal nature park.
