At ProAction Cops & Kids, we bring cops and kids together in skill-building and mentoring programs to create trust, respect and safer communities.

Established in Toronto in 1991, ProAction allows police officers to make a positive and impactful connection with young people. We believe that engaging cops and kids together in police-developed and led programs for youth creates positive relationships, and builds a mutual understanding that strengthens our community today and for the future.

The success and impact of our programs have been recognized by multiple police services' throughout Ontario and we have proudly expanded to include partnerships with Toronto (1991), Durham (2007), Hamilton (2008), Halton Region (2018) and Peel Region (2021).

Since inception, ProAction has provided over $9 million in funding to reach over 427,000 young people through almost 2,400 programs delivered in partnership with over 20,000 police officers across our five chapters.
