This auction is a fundraiser for the Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Tasty Tunes concert and dinner event will start on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the East Harris County Activity Center at 7340 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.

The online portion of this auction is a PRE-EVENT BIDDING phase that will be transitioned to ON-SITE and LIVE bidding sheets at the event.

- 1. Online Pre-Event Bidding ends Friday, 8/18 at 11:00 p.m. -- at this time, email and text notifications will be sent to the leading bidders informing them the bidding will resume on-site at the event.

- 2. On-Site Silent Bidding resumes using paper bidding sheets on Saturday, 8/19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

- 3. Live Auction on Saturday, 8/19 from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

- 4. Final Results Entered in the system on Saturday, 8/19 at close of the event.

- 5. Winning Bidder Invoices can be paid on-site or online at the conclusion of the event.

You don't necessarily have to be present at the event to have the winning bid (unless someone outbids you during live bidding). However, to increase your chances of getting a winning bid, it is best to be present at the event-- and you will get the added benefit of tasty food, tasty tunes and the excitement of the live auction!

In addition to the Online and Live Auction, we also have a Raffle with great prizes! The Raffle will close around 7:00 p.m. on the night of the event with the Live Auction beginning at 7:30 until completed! The winners will be announced at the close of the event!

The Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra and Society are hosting our 1st Annual Epicurean Event that we hope will become a yearly fundraiser to help kick off our performance seasons. We are working hard to make this a great community get-together! This will be a fun way to sample the local area cuisine from about 15 restaurants and bakeries. Dining will be accompanied by a musical performance of the PPO.

The orchestra presented its first performance in 1982. Enthusiasm for a symphony in the area was demonstrated by the number of high caliber musicians who came to play and the initial funding provided by the City of Pasadena, Texas.

The Board of Directors is committed to improving the orchestra and expanding its role in improving the cultural life of our communities and nurturing young musicians.

In 2014 Mr. James Park became the Music Director and Conductor of the Philharmonic, and we have seen and heard an amazing transformation of the ensemble which has grown in size and musical maturity. Under Mr. Park’s leadership the Philharmonic has begun an expansive program of involving other community musical and artistic groups as part of the season’s programming.
