2016 Celebration of the Public Citizen

The 2016 Celebration honors, William S. George, President and CEO of Health Partners Plans, one of the few not-for-profit, hospital-owned health maintenance organizations in the country. Health Partners Plans provides high-quality health care to more than 257,000 children and adults of all ages through its CHIP, Medicaid and Medicare plans. Bill is committed to the company tagline, “doing it right” and is passionate about putting all people, especially children, on the path to good health early in life. Our auction is a part of our overall fundraising strategy to raise $250,000 to support the programs here at PCCY. Thank you in advance for bidding.

PCCY works to improve the lives of our region’s children by developing initiatives and advocating for quality health care, child care, public education and family stability. Our job as parents, neighbors and members of society is to make sure every child has the fundamental building blocks for success including consistent health care, high-quality education from pre-k through high school, proper nutrition, and a dependable support network to help them grown into healthy, able and confident adults. PCCY combines comprehensive research and the tools of advocacy to mobilize partner organizations and citizens across the region to change the lives of children for the better.
