7th Annual Online Auction & Virtual Giving Event

The money raised will help support our Listener Program. PATH Listener Program matches parents whose children have a developmental delay, disability and/or special needs or are currently experiencing a medical concern (premature, surgical procedures, diseases, behavioral issues or genetic disorder) with "veteran" parents (Listeners) who have been through similar experiences. Parents who have experienced high-risk pregnancies are also available to talk with high-risk expectant parents and parents who have faced the unfathomable sadness of losing a child are also part of our network. The "veteran" parent (Listener) provides emotional support as well as resources and helpful information by phone to referred parents. PATH provides a training for these families who are ready to give back and assist families that are in need of support. This fundraiser will assist PATH in providing these trainings to families throughout the state.

PATH/FV is a network of families providing informational and emotional support to others who have a child with developmental or health related needs. PATH/FV reaches out to help strengthen families coping with similar situations in Connecticut and the organizations that serve them to reduce isolation, empower families as advocates for their children, and reaffirm their values as parents and caregivers.
