The purpose of this auction is to raise funds critically needed to support the services provided by Triple B Foundation for Pet Therapy. Funds received for this auction will specifically be used to support the foundation's new program in partnership with the State of Oregon's Department of Corrections. The scope of the program includes 4 of the State’s 14 correctional institutions and the States’ largest correctional facility in Ontario, Oregon with over 3000 inmates. Our 2 registered equine pet therapy teams visit individual units in each of the 4 facilities including mental health units for 1:1 encounters with inmates.

At Triple B Foundation for Pet Therapy, our 3 registered pet therapy teams strive to enhance the well-being for those in need through the healing effects of the human-animal bond. Our pet therapy animals include 2 miniature horses and a French bulldog. Triple B Foundation is based out of Cove, Oregon and provides services to clients regionally in eastern Oregon and western Idaho at health care facilities - subacute and extended care - as well as at State of Oregon Correctional Institutions. Our pet therapy teams are registered through Pet Partners (petpartners.org). This requires rigorous initial evaluation with re-evaluation for each of our 3 teams every 2 years. Our teams have consistently received perfect scores on their evaluations.
