This year we have committed all funds raised at our event to the development of Catherine’s House at Mater. Catherine’s House will be a world-class facility located at Australia’s largest birthing hospital and will support mothers who are experiencing mental health issues around the time of the birth of their baby.

The currently unused and historic Mater Convent is being redeveloped into a service that will provide exceptional care to mothers, babies and families at a critical time in their lives. Infant and perinatal mental health is a significant area of unmet need in the community and this service, along with Mater’s Parent Support Centre and Parent Aide Unit will complete Mater’s comprehensive offering to mothers and their babies by providing a full range of both public and private services in metropolitan Brisbane.
