NHS: Instrumental Music - Capital Campaign 2024

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!!

The NHS Band is starting a capital campaign to raise funds for percussion instruments. Our first goal--- a marimba!

The marimba is a large percussion instrument with a beautiful tone that is called for in every piece we program. We have an awesome percussion section who are so ready to take on the challenge of learning and caring for a new instrument!

This auction is being administered with fees-offset by NHS volunteer caregivers -- so 100% raised will go towards the marimba. We have already raised at least half of the $10,000 purchase price of the marimba, our goal with this fundraiser is as much towards the remainder as possible!

With an annual music department budget in the hundreds, funds for foundational instrument purchases are stretched thin amongst the approximate one-hundred students comprising Marching, Spring Symphony & Jazz Bands.
