Let's Make A New Deal

The New Deal Café has been entertaining music lovers in the Metro DC area since 1995 and was a vibrant and successful entertainment and cultural arts center until we shut down on March 17. As a result of the closure, we are now in financial need.

To raise money to help the Café, we have organized this online auction fundraiser. We will be conducting our “Let’s Make A New Deal” auction from September 8 through September 26. We hope to raise enough money to keep the New Deal Café rockin’ until we are able to bring our guests back to enjoy live music and full capacity indoor dining. The New Deal Cafe is a local and national award-winning music and visual arts venue and Café, with live music every night. We are a community supported and member owned Cooperative that welcomes everyone.

The New Deal Cafe is a community with many amazing artist, musicians and businesses. Recognizing that, we know that the vast and eclectic array of auction items we have to offer will entice our supporters to bid on and purchase them. Please review our offerings. Remember that this is a fundraiser for the New Deal Cafe, so we hope you make a bid not only for the value you think the item is worth, but perhaps you can increase your bid, as much as you are able, to provide some added value.

Every dollar from this auction will go toward saving the New Deal Cafe so we can once again offer our regionally and nationally awarded music programming, as well as spoken and visual arts, for many years to come.
