Nelson & District Women's Centre Silent Auction

The Nelson & District Women’s Centre is proud to announce that we will
host a silent auction fundraising initiative the week of International
Women’s Day to raise funds and awareness for local women. Together, we can #BreaktheBias

The vision of our organization is women’s equality in a world free of
oppression. We continuously strive to achieve our vision by creating a
healthy community through providing support for women and advancing
gender equality. We support all women without discrimination within our
community in many diverse ways including providing necessary
programming, support, resources and referrals to women and their
children.

The Women’s Drop-in Program is our primary and most extensive program; exclusively open to women and children who access free food, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, counselling, internet access and computer services, access to feminist literature and resource centre,
empowerment, and skill development.
